Crooked Creek Cowpokes provide real Texas flair as they gallop about your fair or festival on their trusty puppet steeds,
Lightning and Blondie. You will catch yourself doing a double take to make sure your eyes are not playing tricks on you.

Children even have an opportunity to become a deputy and earn their own badge if they can answer a riddle or a trivia question.

Deputy B.B. Gunn, aka John Sheffield, and Daisy Evans, aka Phyllis Sheffield, stroll the grounds interacting with “children of all ages”. This team of cowpokes shares a wealth of jokes, stories, and trivia questions about the Wild West.
They also have a wealth of knowledge about horses and cows and love to stump the seasoned rancher.
Children have a great time watching the horses wink and swish their tails.



Jokes and stories about balloon dogs
NEW: Deputy B.B. Gunn and Daisy Evans stroll through the grounds with their covered wagon. This covered wagon is not drawn by Little Doggies but it is full of little doggies. Balloon dogs are handed out to the children as these 2 cowpokes interact with stories and jokes.

Just when you think you have seen it all, here comes Chuck Wagon, John Sheffield, leading the Dairy Queen, Phyllis Sheffield, on Pansy the Holstein cow.
People make way as the Dairy Queen blows kisses to her fans and shakes hands. Everyone loves to ring Pansy’s cowbell for Good Luck. You just can’t help but chuckle as you see this bit of real Texas entertainment.
